Professional Teaching Journey

Since 2014, my teaching career has been a direct extension of my professional practice, rather than a departure from it. Every concept, framework, and tool I introduce in the classroom is rooted in real-world applications, ensuring that students gain practical insights and actionable knowledge. This approach bridges the gap between theory and practice, making learning immediately relevant and impactful. Additionally, I emphasise the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all subjects, helping students understand both the opportunities and challenges AI brings to modern business and operations.

Global Teaching Experience

I have taught across leading institutions in Singapore, India, and Malaysia, engaging with diverse cohorts that range from full degree programmes — including MBA and MSc students — to experienced executives and senior leaders participating in advanced certificate programmes. This international exposure has enriched my understanding of varied learning cultures and business environments, allowing me to tailor my teaching methods to the needs and aspirations of each audience.

How I teach

Four convictions shape every programme I design or deliver.

Practitioner-led, not theory-first

I teach from what I have seen work and fail inside real organisations — at SAP, Oracle, PwC, IBM, and across client programmes. Theory earns its place by explaining the evidence, not the other way round.

Learning by doing

Business simulations, live cases, and end-to-end exercises put participants inside the trade-offs. You understand a supply chain differently once you have broken one and had to explain why.

Systems Thinking

Most supply chain and transformation failures are structural, not tactical. I teach participants to read the whole system — feedback loops, interdependencies, and the mental models underneath — using the Iceberg Model and related frameworks.

Building the skills AI cannot replace

As analytical work gets automated, the differentiators become critical thinking, framing the right question, and connecting the dots across domains. These are teachable, and I build them deliberately into every course.
